Turkmenistan.ru, Ashgabat, 03 Jan 2009 – Turkmen minister of communication Resulberdi Hojagurbanow has been severely reprimanded by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who signed a resolution to this effect. According to the resolution, the minister has been reprimanded for failing to ensure the high quality implementation of the president’s instructions, “for poor control over the operation of equipment and sound effects of the New Year congratulatory messages sent by residents in regions during a TV conference between the capital and the regions”.
The communication minister has been warned that he will be relieved of his post if he fails to take measures to improve operations in line with the requirements, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the president of Turkmenistan.
