Media.ge, Tbilisi, 05 Nov 2008 – The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Miklos Haraszti is hosting the fifth annual South Caucasus Media Conference for journalists, to be held in Tbilisi, on November 13 and 14.
Journalists and civil society representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia as well as experts from other OSCE member states will take part in the conference. The main topics of the meeting include the level of media freedom in the South Caucasus countries, public broadcasting and prospective to switching to digital broadcasting. The conference is to adopt the declaration.
The main topic of the fourth South Caucasus Media Conference 2007 was media self-regulation in South Caucasus.
