Seminar is conducted for teachers, journalists and NGO activists – Video

Baku, CASCFEN, 28.07.2016 – Central Asian and Southern Caucasian Freedom of Expression Network (CASCFEN) has conducted a seminar for teachers, journalists and NGO activists. 18 participants have attended the seminar on “Online freedom of expression culture for the groups of different categories”.

According to news delivered from the Organization the seminar which was possible due to financial support of NGO Council has been conducted in the International Eurasia Press Fund`s training center.

Azer Hasret, a Chairman of CASCFEN has thanked Azerbaijan Government, NGO Council and International Eurasia Press Fund and its Chairman Umud Rahimoglu for their generous support.

Afterwards the floor was given to project expert Lale Musaqizi, CASCFEN Board Member and a correspondent of “Kaspi” daily. She had explained code of conduct on online realm and stressed out importance of following the rules. Then she gave different samples and initiated discussions around them. The participants shared their views on the issues as well.

Another expert of the project, CASCFEN Control-Revision Commission Chairwoman Sevda Asker has explained one by one 10 golden rules of netiquette. She draw attention of participants to the fact that if follow these rules one can be out of stress while surfing.

All participants have appreciated the seminar, which was conducted in a lively atmosphere. They suggested to conduct likewise seminars in different organizations, education systems.

Speaking at the end of the seminar Azer Hasret thanked the participants for their active participation and talked on responsibility for violation of online freedom of expression rules.
