Baku, CASCFEN, 26.05.2016 – Central Asian and Southern Caucasian Freedom of Expression Network has conducted its first seminar within the framework of the Project titled “Online freedom of expression culture seminars for groups from different categories”. 20 participants has attended the seminar on “Online freedom of expression culture for teachers and high school students”.
According to news served from the organization, issues like freedom of expression and the responsibility caused due to violation of this value were explained to participants of the seminar. The seminar, which was conducted in the school No245, Baku was supported by the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
While opening the seminar CASCFEN Chairman Azer Hasret said that it is already, 4th year as his organization is implementing the project on online freedom of expression culture and its main goal is to widen peoples` virtual culture.
An expert of the seminar, leading correspondent of the “Kaspi” daily Lale Musaqizi shared her experience with the participants on online freedom of expression, code of conduct in this realm, explained netiquette and netizen widely.
Another expert, senior teacher of Baku Slavic University, Dr. Nushabe Huseynli especially explained the rules in regard to war time news dissemination. She stressed out that each person must be very clever while disseminating news on war actions.
At the end of the seminar, where participants also were quite active they got CASCFEN Certificate on attendance. Group photo was taken afterwards.
